Leaf by Oscar Maduro Personal Review
This cigar had a really unique look with the tobacco leaf wrapping, and once I lit it up the flavors came through right away. The first few pulls gave me a peppery kick, which was sharp but smooth enough not to overpower. From there it moved into espresso and straight coffee tones, with some earthy depth that gave it body without ever feeling overwhelming.
The aroma on this one was amazing rich and slightly sweet, filling the air in a way that made the whole smoke more enjoyable. Flavor stayed consistent with that espresso/coffee backbone, and I’d say the earthy side balanced it out nicely.
Overall, it was just a great cigar to enjoy. Solid construction, plenty of smoke, and a profile that really sticks to the maduro style: pepper up front, espresso and coffee in the middle, and a grounded earthy finish. Definitely happy I got my hands on it, and I’d call this one a solid pickup for anyone who wants that deep coffee-style smoke with a peppery edge.
