Laranja Reserva was a flavor rollercoaster for me. The initial few puffs were sweet and woody. The wrapper seemed to have a hint of cognac to it. As the 1st third developed chocolate flavors began to come through. Entering the 2nd third, I began to taste wood flavors. The 3rd third had nutty, earthy flavors to it. As for the stick itself, it began with an uneven burn, but seemed to correct itself after half of an inch. The body was 3/5 as the smoke output was middle of the road. Ash held on really well and I kept as much on as I could throughout to help allow flavors to develop. The cigar experience lasted about an hour from start to finish. I'd recommend Laranja Reserva to beginners that want to taste various flavors in one sitting.
