Cigar Reviewed: La Flor Dominicana Andalusian Bull Jack Schwartz 100 year anniversary edition
Smoked at: Chicago
This one is a beautifully constructed toro. Larger than I usually prefer at 6 1/4 x 54. The oily sheen of the wrapper makes it very enticing. A nice cedar aroma before lighting. I chalk that up to being stored naked (no cello) in my humidor since 2021 or so.
This is typical of LFD cigars full bodied and strong. I’ve lost my ability to enjoy such strong cigars regularly. I’ve had many LFD cigars in the past. The chisel was my favorite. This one had a nice smooth smoke with a bit of that ligero bite. This one is a nice creamy smooth straight forward smoke for the first 2 inches not much distinctive flavor wise. Then it takes off on a heady strength which was too much for my more medium sensibilities these days. I enjoyed it until about half way, when it kept going out—Despite my puff every two minute pace. The relight made it even more heady. I had to give it up at that point. Very disappointing
