The Caldwell cigars “Long Live the king” “Mad MOFO” is the maduro wrapped version of their popular “long live the king line. I am a lover of maduros and have never had the chance to try the regular “Long Live the king” only the maduro. I will say that it was an excellent stick with great construction and burn as are almost all Caldwell cigars! I smoked the single I had bought to try and directly turned around and purchased an entire box after that experience, My wife even commented on how much she enjoyed the aroma and it was pleasant to be around which is a plus in my book if I can get her to enjoy it as well. I’m not going to get into flavors but it definitely had plenty. Good strength, not to much that it was REALLY strong. I enjoy those cigars as well but this was a good solid maduro smoke that I would highly recommend for any other maduro lovers who want a very well constructed, enjoyable cigar that is a little something different. I love all Caldwell cigars I have smoked and think they are a top notch boutique brand who obviously love making great sticks for the smokers who appreciate them! Do yourself a favor and try one of these when you get an opportunity! I love when I can treat myself to one and enjoy turning others onto a great smoke. Enjoy my FOTL!
