Cigar Reviewed: Macanudo Maduro

Smoked at: Michigan

I smoked my first Macanudo Maduro last night and was very impressed. I can't tell you if this has notes of Oak trees that were near rare birds by a sea side, or if the taste reminded me of a smoke chocolate bar that my grandma gave me when I was six years old. I've been smoking cigars for eight years now and know I don't have an expert palate. I just know what I like in cigars and this cigar checked all the boxes.

I loved the way it smelled before lighting it (rich, dark, leathery/leafy). It had a tight draw. It was a medium - full bodied cigar. I really enjoyed this cigar and will look forward to putting it as a regular in my rotation.
