Cigar Reviewed: Oliva Connecticut Reserve

Smoked at: My balcony

I was very happy with this for a light morning smoke. From the cold draw I already had some fresh green tea flavors going on. On the first puff I again got tea with slight vanilla and cedar. Great creamy smoke for sure but light on the palette. Some light spice almost like cut chives for some spicy note but fades back to the tea/cedar background. The second third and it’s still hanging onto it ash. Nice white and not flaky at all. Draw is great and no touch ups so far. Not really developing into anything but just maintaining a delicate flavor.

Overall I enjoyed this cigar and wish I had a cup of green tea with some lemon to pair. I stuck with just a seltzer water. Construction was great and draw was good throughout.
