FULFILLING FOR THE CRAVING, BUT EASY TO GET HOT

Cigar Reviewed: Macanudo Sumatra

This cigar burns hotter than most, and i think that is partly because of how tightly it is wrapped. it doesn't like to be lightly puffed on, or it burns out quickly. I think the flavor is definitely there, but it could definitely use some work in the wrapping department. The other flaw I found, was that by the time I received it in the mail, it was already fairly dry and it was very evident upon cutting. Maybe that's why it burned so hot? Idk, but the overall experience was enjoyable, and I'm looking forward to trying its counterpart, the ecuadorian shade. I'm hoping to have a better experience with that one, as they are relatively the same with the one exception being the wrapper.
