M Macanudo Espresso with Cream was delightfully surprising! Very rarely do I choose an infused cigar but on a recent trip to the local B&M these were being put on the shelf when I walked in. The barber pole instantly grabbed my attention. I grabbed a pair and put them in the humidor for a few weeks. I got a package this morning. I ordered some coffee from Honduras that I figured would pair pretty well with this infused Macanudo so I gave it a go. Coming out of the wrapper I instantly caught an inviting scent of coffee and milk chocolate. Great looking cigar! After a V cut, cold draw was very rich in coffee and cocoa as well as a very rich flavor of molasses came through. First few puffs after the light up were flavorfully exceptional! First third went as expected. Very rich creamy smoke output and very aromatic. Paired with the Honduran coffee was a definite win! I expected the flavors to fade through the second third but the flavors were consistent all the way through the last third. Razor sharp burn with no touch ups or relights even set it down for a few minutes to brew a second cup of coffee. I have never been a fan of infused cigars but for me personally, this one is box worthy. Enjoyed the flavor, the rich creamy smoke, the quality construction, and the fact that for being an infused cigar, it is not overpowering. Definitely picking up a box or two of this one!
