This was my first cigar from E.P. Carrillo, and I have to say it impressed me right away. From the moment I lit it, the draw was effortless and the smoke output was full but never harsh. The construction was spot on with an even burn and a steady ash, which made the experience relaxing from start to finish.

Flavor-wise, it carried smooth notes of cocoa, coffee, and a touch of spice on the retrohale. What stood out most to me was just how refined and easygoing the smoke felt. Every puff had body and richness, but it stayed balanced the whole way through.

Overall, I’m very happy with this cigar and I’ll definitely be recommending it. Since I enjoyed the Pledge so much, I’m already looking into sampler packs to explore the rest of the E.P. Carrillo line. If this one is any sign of what’s to come, I can see myself becoming a regular with this brand.
