Cigar Reviewed: Undercrown Connecticut Shade

Smoked at: Colorado Springs, Colorado

I am a lover of Medium-Full Body cigars. Traditionally, I wouldn’t touch a Connecticut cigar with a 10-foot pole. To me, Connecticut cigars are often bitter and don’t have that strong, natural tobacco flavor that I enjoy. However, sometimes a truly exceptional Connecticut cigar comes along that breaks the status-quo and reminds me that not all Connecticut cigars are bad. The Undercrown Connecticut Shade by Drew Estate is one of those exceptional standouts. Complete with a pretty wrapper, great construction, and superb smoke output, this will be a Connecticut cigar that will always be in my collection. Great work Drew Estate!
