Don Duarte Reserva Fuerte – First Impressions Review

Cigar Reviewed: Don Duarte Reserva Fuerte

Size: 6 x 60

Wrapper: Nicaraguan Corojo

Experience:

This 60-ring stick opens up with a very smooth and mellow draw, delivering a straightforward flavor profile in the first half. There’s no bite, just a clean and easy introduction that feels more medium-bodied than bold.

Construction is solid considering the larger ring gauge — only minor touch-ups were needed early on. The overall feel in hand is balanced, and the burn has been steady.

So far, it’s shaping up to be a reliable, unpretentious cigar — one that doesn’t try too hard and just lets the Nicaraguan character speak softly. Looking forward to seeing how the middle section develops.
