Cigar Reviewed: Partagas 160 Robusto minor

This shorter robusto is from 2006. It was made to commemorate the 160th anniversary of Partagas brand cigars. It does not disappoint. Based on the same wrapper as the much vaunted 150 series from a 1977 crop of tobacco. This cigar is amazing. Smooth, woody, creamy, smoke— a dead straight burn. I normally let a cigar go when i start to lose interest in the character or flavor. I smoked this one to the last half inch. It was actually burning my fingers by the time i let it go. Some sweet tobacco flavors and subtle woodiness which I’d attribute to the cigar being in it’s cedar chest since 2006. Just plain delicious. So happy I took the leap to buy a whole box when I had the chance a couple years ago.
