Deadwood

Cigar Reviewed: crazy alice

Smoked at: st . Charles

Deadwood Tobacco by Drew Estate isn’t usually the type of smoke I reach for, but every now and then I get a sweet tooth for cigars, and this one really hit the spot. I’ve often thought of these as something I’d recommend more to women or to anyone who wants an easier entry into cigars because of the sweetness, but trying it myself reminded me why they’re so popular. From the first draw the aroma was rich and sweet, with hints of chocolate, maple, and a touch of cherry. The taste matched the smell—balanced, smooth, and not overdone, just the right level of sweetness without being cloying. The burn was steady, the draw effortless, and it left a pleasant lingering finish of cocoa and coffee. While it’s not something I’d smoke all the time, it’s a cigar I genuinely enjoyed and one I’ll reach for again when I’m in the mood for something sweet.
