Crowned Heads Mil Dias, The crown was too tight

Cigar Reviewed: crowned heads mil dias

Had this as a "hey try this one" from a friend at the local cigar lounge. I had the double robusto. The density wasn't anything that seemed abnormal at first but as the smoke went along, it took ongoing efforts to keep it lit. The effort it took to get a good draw on this was more than I care for. It was hard to get a good puff that filled my mouth with a lot of smoke. With that said, there were notes of vanilla and cream. The earthiness developed about an inch in - bark, woodsy, cedar. Light but there. Some nutmeg presence throughout compensated for the effort it took to smoke. Next time, I feel like I would need to massage the cigar a little more to open up more channels.
