Cigar Reviewed: Cohiba siglo 1

The Cohiba Siglo 1 is very well constructed. I’ve heard of tight draws on first third, but my own experience was a perfect draw. I would describe the strength as medium. The flavor profile is a beautiful walk through all severity.

Starting in the first third, the flavors are pleasantly sweet. Notes of sweet wood, honey, and spice.

Mid smoke the cigar evolves into a mellowing of the sweetness. It provides notes of cream, cedar, and a hint of leather.

The final third provides bold, strong flavors of pepper, coffee, and deep leather. It can be a little sharp.

Overall a great, affordable entry point into Cuban cigars. I think they only get better with age. Viable for cigar beginners and veterans alike.
