Cigar Reviewed: Buffalo Trace Buffalo Trace

Smoked at: Springville, New York

As soon as I tested the draw, I knew that it was going to be a strong cigar. Right away I got taste of pepper with a hint of the bourbon. Into the first third it was not burning well and had to relight half of it to be even multiple times. The second third really had a nice taste with taste of smokey bourbon and a nice peppery taste on the tongue. WARNING If you are not a fan of strong tobacco I would stop at the end of the second third and right before or right after you take off the main cigar band. The final third was wicked strong and definitely was the spot where there were keeping all of the Tabaco. However, if you can handle the intensity of the tobacco it really finished off with a nice blend of vanilla with the hints of the Buffalo Trace bourbon that also was present through the cigar. Overall I would definitely recommend this cigar for its taste and its nice blend. I would also recommend that you have a nice big meal before hand and that you take it slow.
