Cigar Reviewed: Charter Oak Maduro
Foundation's Charter Oak Maduro, in Toro size, greeted me with a barnyard smell out of the wrapper and on the cold draw. Semi-closed foot delivered muted flavor on the light. About a half inch in, I started getting cocoa and cedar. Very light spice, but no pepper. Stayed consistent and stayed in the mellow-medium strength range. Good, but I've had more flavorful maduros that stayed in the medium strength range where I am comfortable.
