Cigar Reviewed: Avo Heritage Robusto

First glance it is just a clean looking classic cigar, from the band to the wrapper! Upon first light I received intense notes of spice and almost earthy aroma filled with heavy notes of tobacco! First third of this cigar continued this trend and the earthy flavor slowly evolved into a rich oak note, and the tobacco flavor blended into a leathery composition. Second third of this cigar kicked back up on the spice and became a clear pepper taste almost leaving a bit of a sting on exhale (imagine fresh ground peppercorn on the buds). Last and final third of this cigar continued this heavy spiced and woody flavor combination and almost began to mellow out with a subtle creaminess to it. It remained a full body hit all the way through

I’ve seen people get hints of apple or sweetness but to me I received no such notes, just a spicy and wood rich leathery/creamy smoke nothing was overwhelming for me but some may not care for the deep and rich tones of this cigar. It has a 90+ rating by cigar aficionado and I can see why, it’s definitely an after dinner treat in my opinion. Love to hear yours!
