Arturo Fuente Hemingway Best Seller is a short Figueredo with a nipple foot made of Nicaraguan filler and binder and covered in a Cameroon wrapper. The band is unmistakably Fuente – red and gold with a black interior border. .

The flavors take a while to open up, then you get hit with cedar and occasional notes of oak, cream, dark roast coffee, almonds and hints of herbs and leather. A prppery start gives way to other spices by the second third. There are hints of raisins, grass and honey at times. The Hemingway Best Seller js a medium body, medium strength stick.

Construction: Perfect draw, decent burn line, a little wavy requiring two short touchups, ash held firmly, but it was light on the smoke production..

This is a decent cigar, but I was hardly knocked out by it – much to the chagrin of several friends who boast of the Hemingway sticks. They’ve all said I should try the maduro. The last tume I smoked a Hemingway I said I’d return and so I have. Still, I am not all that impressed by this Fuente. Not a bad cigar. It just didn’t knock me out. I guess it never lived up to the hype for me.
