A rich, robust torpedo with a hint of sweetness

Cigar Reviewed: Arturo Fuente Sun Grown King B

Fuente is well known for their phenomenal draw and reliable flavor. I've rarely found a label that has such consistency from year to year with a specific product, and the King B is a jewel in that particular crown. Having sought these sticks out after a pause in production, I was certain I'd find some variance during the second run but it was the same slow, rich, slightly sweet experience I remembered. The profile you'll often read for this cigar mentions cocoa and semi sweet chocolate, and that's certainly there, but as is common with Fuentes, it's a journey. It starts off quite sweet, and gains depth and spice as you progress. It's easily one of my very favorite cigars. With a price point that puts it in my special occasion tier, I don't get these as often as I'd like, but what a treat when I do!!
