A really refreshing experience

Cigar Reviewed: Nica Libre 1990

This cigar started off with a really surprising note... It's got a floral almost peach blossom quality. Maybe that's a result of how open the draw is?

As you get into it a bit some ginger snap qualities develop with pink peppercorn spiciness, and an emerging mulchy earth quality that's not too unlike the aroma of spanish blue cheeses or damp fall foliage, as well as a bit of wet cedar. It feels like this is a really lovely result of the habana binder and san andres wrapper? But who knows, I might be reading too much into it.

I adore how rich the smoke is. It's really something else.

As I've gotten down to the last 3rd, the spice has subsided rather than intensified- for me this is a welcome surprise as spice isn't my favorite thing in a cigar. There is also an emerging dried fruit quality that I could be convinced is golden raisin?

Outstanding smoke with fun progression.

Cheers y'all.
