A joyous moment of delight

Cigar Reviewed: La Gloria Cubana Series S

How excited was I when the UPS driver arrived with the La Gloria Cubana Series S for me to review. I could not wait to light it up and give it a try.

This cigar looked great with a leathery wrapper and a nice band (although a little large). Anyway, I sat down and lit it up. It began so smooth and even. I sipped some coffee and puffed, what delight was to be discovered as semi-sweet chocolate sparked by taste buds.

I realized that there were hints of leather, raw almonds, with a bit of grass and grain. Yum!

I wondered, "What would this taste like with whiskey?" So, I poured some Buffalo Trace, sipped and puffed. Instantly, clove and oak danced on my senses.

Overall, this stick was a delight from start to finish. It never got hot and retained a great draw the entire time.
