Cigar Reviewed: La Gloria Cubana Medio Tiempo

Smoked at: Yardley, PA

I was a bit surprised at how much I liked this cigar. Out of the cellophane, it has a pleasant aroma with a bit of hay and caramel from the foot. Construction was close to perfect with a nicely formed cap and a uniform feel along the length. Once lit, it offered an easy but full draw with a generous amount of smoke. No touch ups needed and with a razor sharp burn line, this was an absolute pleasure from start to finish. It's a medium body, medium strength stick with a nice amount of sweetness from the wrapper and a dominant profile and leather and earth. This was a robusto that came in with a smoking time of around 1 hour and 20 minutes, definitely longer than I'm used to. Happy Smoking!
