This week (April 15-19), the Premium Cigar Association (PCA) is holding its annual trade show, and Cigar World will be providing extensive coverage of it on our Instagram channel. So go check it out and give us a follow to hear all about the latest news from your favorite brands.

If you’re new to the cigar community — or just looking for a refresher — here’s what you can expect from PCA 2026! (It’s exciting stuff; we promise.)

What is PCA?

PCA stands for the Premium Cigar Association, an organization that includes retailers, partners, and other members of the cigar industry. However, when most of us in the cigar community reference “PCA,” we’re talking about the annual PCA trade show held every April.

The PCA tradeshow is one of the largest cigar conventions. It allows hundreds of industry pros, retailers, and dozens of brands a chance to connect in person and — for our purposes — show off cool new releases they’re planning.

What can you expect from PCA 2026?

PCA 2026 is being held in New Orleans. (In previous years, it was held in Las Vegas.) What you can expect is to hear a lot of news from top cigar brands about their latest initiatives, promotions, and cigar releases.

Is PCA open to the public?

No, not really. PCA is primarily for retailers and brand representatives. It is first and foremost a tradeshow. So if you're in New Orleans, you can’t just stop by. But the good news is that Cigar World will be interviewing brand managers and industry experts all weekend long to bring you the most noteworthy news from the convention.

What brands are at PCA?

Almost too many to list, but regular attendees at PCA include Macanudo, CAO, Cohiba, Drew Estate, Romeo y Julieta, Montecristo, and many more. If you like cigars, odds are you’ll hear about something exciting coming out of PCA.

How do I follow the news at PCA?

Your best bet is to follow us on Instagram! We’ll be providing live coverage the whole weekend. But if social media isn’t your thing, we’ll also post a highlights blog here on Cigar World recapping the best things we saw.
