First came Black in June 2023, followed by Blue in March 2024. Now, Micallef Cigars has added Red to its lineup.
The new Micallef Red consists of a Mexican San Andrés habano wrapper covering a Pennsylvania broadleaf binder grown in Nicaragua and a filler combination of tobaccos from Mexico and Nicaragua.
Like the Black and Blue, it’s regular production line is produced at the company’s factory in Nicaragua. Also like those two lines: it’s offered in the same two vitolas, priced the same:
Micallef Red Robusto (5 x 52) — $7 (Box of 25, $175)
Micallef Red Toro (6 x 52) — $8 (Box of 25, $200)
“We’ve crafted the Micallef Red to be a memorable smoke, just like the experiences we share at our Micallef Socials,” said Al Micallef, founder of Micallef Cigars, in a press release. “It’s about more than cigars; it’s about enjoying great moments together.”
