Room101 Introduces New, Limited-Edition Namakubi Chingon
Room101 Cigars is re-launching a new version of a fan-favorite smoke just in time for the holiday season. The new Room101 Namakubi Chingon may sound familiar to followers of the brand, but it features a revamped blend and a striking new blue color scheme.
Room101 Namakubi Chingon Product Release Information
Namakubi, which refers to the severed head of a samurai taken in battle, is a limited-edition cigar produced in partnership with William Ventura and manufactured at Tamboril in the Dominican Republic. Its complex blend features a San Andrés Maduro wrapper, Sumatra binder, and fillers from Pennsylvania (Broadleaf), Nicaragua, and the Dominican Republic.
The new Namakubi Chingon (5.5” x 60) delivers a rich and complex smoking experience with an easy draw and full-bodied intensity. Smokers will encounter flavors of dry nut, dark chocolate, espresso coffee, oak, ginger sweetness, and black pepper spice, complemented by aromas of breadfruit, wood, cedar, dark coffee, and dark chocolate. From the first puff, the profile is bold and layered, becoming increasingly intense as the cigar develops—where espresso and oak take on a more pronounced role.
Room101 Founder and Creative Director Matt Booth said, “The magic component of the Namakubi blend is that it is aged mathematically and strategically in the tears of our haters – this is the source of the depth of its deliciousness. It is the taste of victory in the face of adversity.”
Master blender Wiber Ventura added, “It is always an honor to collaborate with my dear friend Matt Booth. We share such a strong connection in cigar making that ideas come to us naturally. Every time he approaches me with a new project, I get excited because I know it will become something explosive in the market.”
