Punch Cigars Serves Up Egg Roll XL

Punch Cigars is bringing back a fan-favorite cigar for the Chinese New Year. Named Egg Roll XL, the new, limited-edition cigar is a callback to the original Egg Roll released in 2019. While it features the same blend, it is larger than the first Egg Roll. 

Punch Egg Roll XL Blend Information

Punch Egg Roll XL is a 6 X 60 Gigante. Like its predecessor, it features a shaggy foot. It boasts a US Broadleaf wrapper, an Ecuadorian Sumatra binder, and fillers from Colombia, the Dominican Republic, Mexico, and the USA. 

Egg Roll XL offers tasting notes of pepper, blackberry, and earthy spiciness. It is a medium-bodied cigar. Suggested pairings include IPAs and coffee. 

Punch’s brand manager, Scott Abney, said, “Fans haven’t been shy about telling us how much they loved the first Punch Egg Roll. So it only made sense to bring it back in a bigger size! Egg Roll XL has everything you remember and enjoyed about the original, and then some.” 

In addition to Egg Roll and Egg Roll XL, Punch has previously launched other food-themed cigars to celebrate the Chinese New Year, such as Kung Pow!, Chop Suey, and Spring Roll. 

The original Punch Egg Roll received a 90 rating from Halfwheel.

Punch Egg Roll is a limited-edition cigar. It will begin shipping to retailers in February 2026. It features branding that nods to the Year of the Horse and comes in a Chinese takeout-style box. Each box contains 20 cigars. SRP per cigar is $7.99. Egg Roll XL was produced in Honduras.
