Alec Bradley Releases New Edition of Fine & Rare

Alec Bradley is launching the latest iteration of the Fine & Rare series this month. The new cigar, Alec Bradley Fine & Rare ANB-228, follows the convention of previous Fine & Rare releases in that it contains 10 different tobaccos within its blend. Fine & Rare ANB-228 features a Honduran wrapper and a mixture of Honduran, Nicaragua, Mexican, and Dominican fillers. This marks the 14th year Alec Bradley has released a Fine & Rare cigar.

Alec Bradley Fine & Rare ANB-228 Blend Details

Alec Bradley Fine & Rare ANB-228 contains an aged Honduran wrapper from the Trojes growing region. Beneath its wrapper, Fine & Rare boasts two binders — another leaf from Trojes along with a Nicaraguan Estelí. Finally, the blend is rounded out by fillers from Jamastran, Jalapa, Mexico, the Dominican, and Estelí.

Binder: Trojes C-99 (Honduras) & Estelí C-98 (Nicaragua)

Filler: Jamastran C-99 (Honduras), Jamastran C-98 (Honduras), Jalapa C-98 (Nicaragua), Mexican San Andrés (Mexico), Dominican Criollo (DR), Jalapa C-99 (Nicaragua), Estelí C-99 (Nicaragua)

Fine & Rare ANB-228 was crafted at the Raices Cubana factory in Honduras. It is a medium-bodied cigar. Tasting notes include hazelnut, cinnamon and dark chocolate. Drink pairings for Fine & Rare ANB-228 are single malt scotch, espresso and cognac.

Only 1,500 boxes of Fine & Rare ANB-228 will be available for sale at brick-and-mortar retailers. Each box contains ten cigars and the new release will begin shipping to retailers on November 3rd. SRP per cigar is $19.99.
