Smoke of the day: Leaf by Oscar Maduro.
Right from the first light it hit me with peppery tones, but not in a way that overpowered just enough to wake up the palate. After that it settled into rich espresso and coffee notes with a nice earthy backbone that kept it balanced. The aroma was fantastic, filling the air with that sweet, roasted maduro smell.
Overall, a solid cigar with great flavor, steady burn, and a profile that stays interesting from start to finish. Definitely glad I grabbed this one.
