EL MAGO ALAKZAM

This isn't a smoke review; I just got a pack from El Mago and a three-bundle pack as well. I keep hearing these cigars are excellent, so I decided to get a pack before ordering a box. 📦 has anyone else had El Mago

Short history and meaning:

-"El Mago, which translates to ‘The Wizard’, was inspired by a couple who created magic from the little opportunity that life first offered them - his grandparents, Maria and Gonzalo Torre. The first two letters from each of their names is what brought the name Mago to life...El Mago is an ode to their love, life journey, and incredible legacy.- by Nicolas Fusco, C.E.O and grandson."

    This is a great example of why this forum is a cool idea. Sharing cigars like El Mago intermixed with reviews of other (more common) cigars keeps it fresh.

      100 percent I think what makes this new generation of cigar aficionados stand out is how open-minded we’ve become compared to the older generation who usually stuck to one brand or blend. With everything being online now, it’s easier to explore and understand cigars on a deeper level from the wrapper, tone, and age, to how each one pairs with soda, coffee, liquor and so on. We’re not limited anymore; we experiment, we compare, and we share opinions that help others decide what fits their own taste. That’s why platforms like this, are great they keep that connection alive between those who enjoy learning, trying, and experiencing cigars from every angle. They do need to retouch cigar world a little bit more but so far it's good.

    I love El Mago and the presentation is as good as the cigars. Disco and Jaquar are my two favorites.

      I’ve never tried any of them, but I was watching a historical breakdown of the owner and how he began his company from nothing to the successful business it is now. It’s truly amazing to think about how he achieved all of this at such a crazy young age. 🤯
