Beginning The Holiday Weekend
Today I kicked off the holiday weekend with a cigar that’s been in my humidor for some time, waiting for a special occasion. This La Flor Dominicana L 400 Natural was simply superb.
As I watched the smoke rise upwards, I was thinking of my Uncle “Son,” who was killed when his ship was torpedoed and sank in WWII. I blew a smoke ring that rose and slowly rolled, folding within itself, when it gradually turned into a heart. How appropriate. We will never forget the ultimate sacrifice those gave for our Country. A happy, yet solemn, Memorial Day to all.
