Good morning all, the coffee has been on since 0420 and it's already "Hump Day". I see that the NY Rangers dropped another one last night, lets go fellas and turn things around. They play tomorrow evening again, hopefully they can figure out a way to win one for a change. Anyway, enjoy everyone and remember to be safe out there.......🤓

    Good morning everyone, the coffee is on and it's looking like we'll have a nice sunny day here in the Hudson Valley with temps in the mid 60s. I'm heading into West Point in a few as we have another busy one as we're briefing a 4 Star General from Fort Bragg about the current situation and all. I hope you all have a great day and enjoy it as well...... 👍

    Good morning all, the coffee has been on since 0420 and it's back to the office Monday. We had a good weekend, got to enjoy a few primo stogies and some tasty barbecue Saturday and yesterday. I hope everyone has a great week and all....... 🤓

    Good morning Ward B and happy weekend!

    It's great that you got a socially distanced family gathering in, Mark. My family is nowhere close, so I've had to rely on Zoom for video chats (nothing unusual there), but a good friend will occasionally stop by if the weather is nice and we'll sit on the back lawn 12 feet apart and chat. :-)

    It's yard work here today too.

    Good morning Ward B’rs! Coffees been on for about an hour. Two of our three “kids” and son-in-law came over last night. We humans kept our distances, while all 3 new puppies socialized. It was fun to watch them get to know each other, and then chase each other around the yard!!

    Today is yard work after church.

    I couldn’t reply to your comment CG, but I doubt I’ll get a response from the Admins. We were told if you subscribe to a Group, then you’ll see everything that’s added in that Group. Sadly, that’s seems not true.

    Couple more Legacies told me they’re done here; “never mind”.

      It's really a shame to lose the Legacies. We had such great interaction.

      Things are as normal as can be here. We're healthy, fed, and working. I'm still working remotely most of the time and honestly, I really prefer it!

      I'm doing good brother, we're hanging in there. Getting ready to bring the Senior Class back to West Point at the end of this month for a June 13th graduation with the President as the guest speaker. Lot of meeting everyday both video and live at the EOC. Take care and hope to see you all soon....... 🤓

    Good Friday morning and Happy Beltane! I wish the weather was better and there was actually a place and people to dance around the May Pole. :-)

    While I'm not doing "regular" work on Saturday, I do have an online workshop I have to attend. I really hope the weather improves for an outside smoke and cocktail this weekend.

    Good morning everyone, the coffee is on and it's Friday. Not sure how many of you are working the weekend, we have decided to split up the weekend schedule in the Emergency Operations Center here at West Point. Both for Saturday & Sunday, there's a morning, afternoon and evening shift to give everyone a little time off and relaxation. I have the morning shift tomorrow, with the nice weather heading our way, I should be out back in the afternoon enjoying a primo cigar or two and a couple of cold ones with the BBQ going. I hope you all get to do the same, enjoy and be safe out there....... 😎

    CW Admins - I’m subscribed to The Lounge, but replies & comments to THIS SPECIFIC daily post never show up in my Feed nor my “orange ball”.

    It would help the whole “we need to be able to follow a thread” and “we’d like to follow specific people & topics” to improve “community”, if we can subscribe/follow:

    * any post or reply or comment,

    * any member, and

    * any topic that is tagged (#) or pinned,

    So that ANY activity across the website of these 3 things be listed in our Feed & “orange ball” BY NAME.

    Example:

    I’m currently following every Legacy Ward B member I’ve found. But I’m not notified of their posts/replies/comments by name. Further, if they post some Group I’m not subscribed to, I’ll never see it.

    Good morning everyone, the coffee is on as always and it's back to work Monday. I worked half the day Saturday (teleworking) and then did some yard work and cut the grass. Enjoyed a few of my favorite cigars afterwards out back and had a bonfire in the fire-pit getting rid of branches that fell off the trees during the winter. Yesterday was a stay in the house day as it rained all day and we caught up on shows we had DVR'd for the past couple of weeks. Weather wise this week according to NOAA, we have rain today, a couple of days of sun and then a couple of more days of rain:

    Good morning and happy weekend, Ward B. I hope you all are doing well.

    That's exciting news for the senior class, Charlie. Congrats to them!

    With the influx of cigars from my Easter Bunny, I'm going to enjoy one this afternoon. The temps will be in the mid 60's today with no rain, so I will be able to sit outside and smoke, a lovely change from being cooped up for so long this spring.

    Good morning all, the coffee has been on since 0415 and I'm about to head out to West Point shortly. The United States Military Academy along with Head Quarters Army has made a decision to bring back the senior class (Firsties) so they can graduate and become Second Lieutenants in this great US Army of ours. They come back between the 27th and 28th of May and get ready for the 13th of June when President Trump (Commander in Chief) will preside over the ceremony. A lot will happen between now and then and more will follow. Enjoy your weekend everyone...... 🤓

    Today - Showers likely, then showers and possibly a thunderstorm after 3pm. Some of the storms could produce small hail and gusty winds. Patchy frost before 7am. High near 57. Light and variable wind becoming west 13 to 18 mph in the morning. Winds could gust as high as 37 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%.     Good morning all, the coffee is on and it's back to work Monday after a great day off. Yesterday, Beth and I relaxed out back after I split some wood in the morning. We barbecued some wings along with a batch of stuffed jalapenos. Smoke 3 of my favorite cigars along with a few cold beers from Newburgh Brewing. Heading to West Point in a few, I know it's going to be a busy week as the President stated that he's coming for Graduation which means meeting after meeting after meeting.
