Good morning all, the coffee has been on since 0420 and it's already "Hump Day". I see that the NY Rangers dropped another one last night, lets go fellas and turn things around. They play tomorrow evening again, hopefully they can figure out a way to win one for a change. Anyway, enjoy everyone and remember to be safe out there.......🤓

    Good morning everyone, the coffee is on and it's Friday! We had a good time at Aroma last night as the place was packed and hopping. Beth and I are getting ready for the first weekend for NASCAR this season: Chinese takeout tonight for the Craftsman Truck Series race; chicken on the grill for tomorrow's Xfinity Series race; low and slow ribs on the grill for the Cup Series race on Sunday - the Daytona 500. They'll be plenty of cigars smoked this weekend along with cold beers and adult beverages. I hope you all have a great President's Day weekend and enjoy...... 🇺🇸

    Good morning all, the coffee is on as always and it's Thursday which means we'll be at the Aroma Cigar Room in Monroe, NY this evening. NASCAR had it's qualifying last night for Sunday's Daytona 500. The Front Row is set and the rest of the field will be set after tonights Duel Races starting at 1900 (7 PM) on FS1:

    Good morning everyone, the coffee is on and it's "Hump Day" already. Beth and I had a relaxing Valentine's dinner at home where she made one of my favorite Hungarian dishes: Hungarian Layered Potatoes casserole - Rakott Krumpli https://budapestcookingclass.com/hungarian-layered-potatoes-rakott-krumpli-2/#. She also made a Red Velvet cake with cream cheese frosting in the shape of a big heart. All was very delicious and mouth watering. I hope you all have a great day and enjoy...... 💯

    Good morning all, the coffee has been on since 0410 as always and it's looking like we'll have another nice February day here in the Hudson Valley and then a rain shower or two Thursday into Friday according to NOAA:

    Today - Sunny, with a high near 51. Wind chill values between 25 and 35 early. Northwest wind 8 to 17 mph.

    Tonight - Increasing clouds, with a low around 36. Calm wind becoming south around 6 mph after midnight.

    Wednesday - Cloudy, then gradually becoming mostly sunny, with a high near 60. Breezy, with a south wind 8 to 13 mph increasing to 16 to 21 mph in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 31 mph.

    Wednesday Night - Partly cloudy, with a low around 48. West wind 7 to 14 mph.

    Good morning everyone, the coffee is on and it's back to work Monday. Congrats to the K.C. Chiefs on their win last night and being crowned the 2023 Super Bowl Champs. The Eagles had a great season, it just wasn't their night. Now that the NFL is over, it's time to enjoy the beginning of the NASCAR season with the Daytona 500 this coming Sunday. The NHL is mid season and the NY Rangers are doing great. Enjoy your week all, smoke a favorite or two throughout it....... 🇺🇸

It was a well needed vacation and we can't wait until the next (sounds like we're ready for retirement - one year can't come fast enough).     Good morning everyone, the espresso coffee is on and it's brisk Saturday morning back here in the Hudson Valley: 30°F / Wind Chill 20°F

    I'm going to head over to the Aroma Cigar Room in a bit and see how the fellas are doing and smoke a couple of stogies as well. Beth is doing a pork roast in the crock pot (low and slow) and we'll have barbecue sandwiches while we watch today's NFL playoff games. Have a great weekend all and enjoy....... 🍺

    Good morning all, the coffee is on and it’s our last day in Key West. Beth and I had a great day yesterday: I walked over to Kim’s Kuban https://kimskuban.com/ for breakfast and then went over to the VFW for a bit. We saw Zack Seemiller one last time as we caught the last hour of his show at Willie T’s on Duval http://www.williets.com/. We finished off the evening playing trivia at the Waterfront Brewery https://www.thewaterfrontbrewery.com/. We have a good half a day still as we don’t fly until this afternoon and when we land, we have a car service bringing us home. Enjoy your day everyone…… 😎

    Good morning everyone, the coffee is on and already “Hump Day”. We had a great day yesterday, got a good walk in and then spent the afternoon at the Smokin’ Tuna where Zack and Caffeine Carl rock it. A couple of our friends came down from New York and met us there. They come down every year and spend a month in the sun. We have another day and half here before we head home. Heading out to breakfast in a while and then hitting Duval Street one more time. Enjoy all and remember to be safe out there……. 🌞

    Good morning everyone, the coffee is on and it’s going to be another nice day down here in Key West. Beth and I went to one of our favorite brunch spots yesterday: Rams Head https://ramsheadsouthernmost.com/. Afterwards, we headed over the Green Parrot and listened to some ole’ time jazz, smoking cigars and drinking a few cold beers. Congrats to the Eagles on their win and now the NFC East Champions. Our nephew Gary has today and tomorrow off, so we’ll be out and about with him. I see cigars, good food and cold drinks in the near future. Enjoy your week….. 👍

    Good morning everyone, the coffee is on and it’s looking like we’re going to have a beautiful day here sunny Key West. Beth and I had a great first day on vacation seeing some old friend, stopping in at a few of favorite watering holes and mostly relaxing with our nephew Gary. Gary is bartending today (during the day) at Fogarty’s so Beth and I will get in some sight seeing, possibly go on a boat ride and will definitely smoke a few primo cigars.     Good morning all, the espresso coffee is on and we are officially on vacation. Key West, here we come! The car service should be here in roughly an hour and we're packed and ready to go. I ended up packing another 5 pack of top end cigars for those special nights walking down Duval after a great dinner and enjoying the warm night breeze.     Good morning all, the coffee is on and it's another early morning here at West Point as the current community COVID-19 status is back to "Medium". The Department of Defense (DoD) mandates that if your local County status is medium or high, you will test your unvaccinated personnel twice a week until the County status drops to low. On the bright side, early into work means early out. Anyway, enjoy everyone and remember to be safe out there....... 👍

    Good morning all, the coffee is on and it's back to work Monday already. We worked the Army Football game Saturday versus UCONN which the Army team won 34 - 17. Yesterday, we stayed home after going to the grocery store and watched football and witnessed the wildest finish this year. The NE Patriots and the NY Jets were 3 - 3 for almost the entire game until the Patriots ran a punt back for a touchdown with 5 seconds left in the game. Congrats to the Philadelphia Eagles on their late game win to go 9 and 1. This week will be a short work week with Thanksgiving and all. We'll be going to the Aroma Cigar Room on Tuesday as they are having a membership Thanksgiving dinner along with a Room 101 cigar event as well. I hope everyone has a great week and enjoys....... :)👍

    Good morning all, the coffee is on as always and it's another early morning here at West Point. We're back to testing the unvaccinated Garrison employees today and tomorrow starting at 0700 in the EOC. Orange County is back in a "Medium" status which means testing twice a week within a 48 hour period. I see that the Eagles lost last night to the Commanders, 8 and 1 is still not to shabby. We had a great time last night as Beth and I share the same birthday and we went out for beers and appetizers at one of our favorite places.
