Good morning all, the coffee has been on since 0420 and it's already "Hump Day". I see that the NY Rangers dropped another one last night, lets go fellas and turn things around. They play tomorrow evening again, hopefully they can figure out a way to win one for a change. Anyway, enjoy everyone and remember to be safe out there.......🤓

    Good morning all, the coffee is on and it's finally Friday! We had a great time last night at the Smoking Shields event in Harriman, NY. There was a great turn out with folks from all over NY in attendance. I see that the Yankees put up another "W", way to go guys and hopefully they can do it again tonight. The NASCAR drivers will be in Brooklyn, MI racing at the Michigan International Speedway this weekend with racing tonight, tomorrow and Sunday. Have a great weekend everyone and enjoy....... 🤓

    Good morning everyone, the coffee is on and it's Thursday which means cigar night with the local S/BOTL. We're changing things up a bit tonight though as the local Smoking Shields crew is having a membership drive / smoker. I'll let everyone know how was in the morning. I see that the Yankees won one last night, keep it up fellas and put up a few more "W"s. I hope you all have a great day and enjoy a favorite or two....... 🇺🇸

Got the grass cut yesterday afternoon as planned and then watched the Yankees last night get their butts spanked. Let's go fellas and regroup, time to put some "W"s up on the board.     Good morning all, the coffee is on as always and it's back to work Monday. Beth and I had a great weekend over all relaxing out back Saturday and then yesterday supporting a fundraiser at The New Windsor American Legion (carwash from 0900-1300). Came home and put a rack of ribs on the grill for 3+ hours low and slow. Afterwork today, I'll come home and cut the grass and weed whack being that the temperature is only in the upper 70s all week:

    Good morning everyone, the coffee is on and it's Friday! We had a great time at Aroma last night, the place was packed and everyone was enjoying primo stogies and all. The NASCAR racers are in Richmond, VA this weekend and we already know that the Yankees will be taking on the Orioles starting tonight in Baltimore. I hope you all have a relaxing weekend and enjoy....... 👍

    Good morning everyone, the coffee is on and it's "Hump Day" already. I see that the Mets beat the Yankees 9 - 3, come on fellas and turn it around tonight and put up a "W". Today at West Point is the annual New Comers Briefing / Community Fair for all recently arrived military members / government employees (arrived to West Point in the past year). From 1300 (1 PM) to 1500 (3 PM) will be the information briefings in the Ike Hall Theater and then from 1500 to 1700 (5 PM) will be the fair. At the fair, numerous activities will have tables set up in the Ike Hall Ballroom handing out information about their activities along with chochkees and such. Also in Crest Hall, there will be local vendors from on and off the installation offering tasty treats and drinks. Should be a great day for all to get out and meet other community members. Enjoy all....... 🤓

    Good morning everyone, the coffee is on and it's back to work Monday already. We had a good over all, I got the grass cut Saturday morning and then trimmed all the bushes afterwards. Unfortunately, I got some poison ivy on my left arm that is itchier than ever right now. Yesterday, Beth and I hit a couple of tap rooms / breweries which was a nice treat. The Yankees swept the Royals this weekend and congrats to Denny Hamlin for taking the checkered flag in yesterday's NASCAR race. Have a great week all and enjoy....... 🤓

    Good morning all, the coffee is on as always and it's Friday! We had a good time at Aroma last night, a number of the regulars were out enjoying top shelf stogies and all. Weather wise, NOAA is calling for rain again today in the Hudson Valley and then we'll have a break for the weekend:

    Good morning all, the coffee is on and it's already "Hump Day". We got a break and don't have to be at the Emergency Operations Center until 0700 (7 AM) this morning. It'll be another long day at West Point followed up with the County district meeting tonight hosted at our American Legion in New Windsor, NY. I see that the Yankees lost another one, time to regroup fellas and get things right. Enjoy everyone...... 🇺🇸

    Good morning all, the espresso coffee is on and it's an early Monday morning with work starting in less than 30 minutes at West Point. It's going to be another long week at work as recovery continues from last Sunday's storm. Highland Falls, NY (the town outside of West Point) has 455 condemned homes alone which is totally devastating to the community. They will recover but it's a long road for sure.     Good morning all, the coffee is on and it's Thursday which normally means that we head to the Aroma Cigar Room after work. We'll see if that happens depending on the work schedule here at West Point and all. They finally opened Route 9W which is the main road connecting West Point north to Cornwall and parts north. South of West Point is another question. They did set up the ferry service starting this morning from the Garrison side to West Point which will help a number of employees that live on the east side of the Hudson River. Fingers crossed that things get better every day. Enjoy everyone....... 🇺🇸

I attached the Facebook link from "Living in Cornwall, NY" to show what roads are currently opened and closed. Our normal drive to work was roughly 15 minutes from Cornwall now takes roughly an hour+ depending on the traffic and all:

    Good morning all, the coffee is on and it's day two of recovery for the Hudson Valley. Beth and I received minimal damage compared to the West Point / Highland Falls community. Route 9W which is the direct route to West Point is only oneway as a portion of the road is gone. Everyone that travels south on 9W has to find other means to head towards West Point and points south. It's going to take a while to rebuild but I'm sure the Highway department will make it one of the priorities. Have a great day everyone....... 👍

    Good morning everyone, the coffee is on and it's Monday. I want to thank everyone for their thoughts and prayers in the passing of our brother-in-law Gary, it means a lot for the family. Yesterday, the Hudson Valley received a lot of rain in a short period of time resulting major damage all over with the County Supervisor declaring a State of Emergency. West Point has major damage throughout and the Town of Highland is under water. West Point is currently in a Code Red and damage is currently being assessed. There are roads gone that use to be there and areas impassable. I'll update as we know more from our 0900 (9 AM) MS Teams meeting. Talk with you all soon.

The Yankees got spanked last night, let's go fellas and turn things around tonight. The NASCAR drivers are in Atlanta, GA this weekend which will definitely be a hot one. It's going to be a solemn weekend for us, Beth's brother-in-law Gary Ricci passed away last Sunday after a long battle with cancer and the services are tomorrow with the viewing this afternoon. Enjoy everyone....... 👍

I'm heading over to the New Windsor American Legion Post 1796 in a bit to help out as we're having a cleaning day in the kitchen and storage areas.
