West Tampa Tobacco Company Circle Of Life

Smoked: West Tampa Tobacco Company Circle Of Life

West Tampa Tobacco Company Circle Of Life Robusto is made in the Dominican using “undisclosed” tobacco. I seem to be running into this lately. The band is gold on charcoal with the West Tampa Tobacco logo and “Circle of Life” under it.

Charred oak, earth, leather, pepper, and ever so slight touches of dried fruit and cocoa. But primarily earth and wood dominant. A mineral note jumps in during the second third, which is where the cigar stalls and goes flat. It’s medium bodied and strength.

Construction: tight draw that required the Perfect Draw – twice, weak smoke output, wobbly burn line, and white grey ash that was flaky and fell off twice.

Smoking the West Tampa Tobacco Company Circle of Life was not a pleasant experience. Very little flavor, harsh, bitter and left me parched. Couldn’t finish the stick. It went into the ashtray before I got to the final third. I tried, but this cigar is the definition of “meh.” West Tampa Tobacco Company Red is the best of the brand, in my opinion By far!

I had a similar experience with the Circle of Life , maybe not as bad. I was just unimpressed , not terrible , but not good. I like the West Tampa black and white , but agree that the Red is the best
