Smoked: Olive black swan
Smoked at: St charles
Late last night I lit up an Oliva Black Swan just to wind down, and honestly this cigar surprised me again. Right off the start it hits you with that smooth cocoa and earth, with a little pepper on the retrohale nothing harsh, just enough to wake it up.
The middle is where it really shines for me. Dark chocolate, some woodiness, and a light sweetness that creeps in as it warms up. Burn stayed clean the whole way, no touch-ups, no drama. Classic Oliva construction doing its thing.
By the final stretch it got deeper more espresso, darker chocolate but still smooth enough to enjoy without thinking too hard. It’s one of those sticks you can relax with and let it do its job.
Overall: solid medium-full night smoke, really good flavor, slow burner, and worth keeping a couple on hand. What hits my palate might hit someone else different, so definitely try one or two before jumping on a box but for me, the Black Swan is an easy late-night pick.
