Smoked: Frude Agape

Somewhere behind this billboard is a cigar. Milk chocolate in color with a few visible veins. Seems are tight and virtually invisible. I’ve been through a handful and I must say I smoked them too soon. It’s amazing what about 100 days of naked humidor time will do for this (any) cigar. The creaminess, the flavors, the complexity and the transitions are tenfold with age. The party starts with creamy peppercorns, oak, leather, and a floral sweetness (honeysuckle) that later becomes more of a honey sweetness. However, it never overwhelms the charred meat, oak and rich leather. The savory/ sweet balance is spot on. I went with a deep V cut, the burn was razor sharp, construction was perfect. On this particular stick, and all the others. Fantastic cigar. Now, for the downside, the price point!!!
