Smoked: Liga Undercrown Gran Toro
Smoked at: Wetherington, Ohio
Liga Undercrown Gran Toro smokes like a Liga Privada with slightly tmilder body (more medium), and strength. Dial down the Liga Privada pepper and you’re close. Oak, some pepper, mineral earthiness, mixed nuts, chocolate, light roast coffee, and hints of cream and leather. The coffee kicks into a higher gear by the final third.
Open draw, even burn line until the end of the second third when it went off kilter, impressive smoke production, and grey ash that held tight start to finish.
If you’re a fan of the Liga Privada No. 9 or T52, you’ll enjoy this cigar. It’s just a lighter, milder version but not by much. The Mexican San Andres and Brazilian Mata Fina tobacco works magic with this cigar.
