Cigar Reviewed: Liga Privada No. 9
Smoked at: St charles
Earlier this morning I had a Camacho, but after a long day at work I decided tonight was the night to finally spark up a Liga Privada No. 9. I wasn’t even planning on smoking, but I’m glad I did this cigar more than delivered. The burn line stayed even and controlled, the draw was effortless, and the smoke poured out in thick, creamy clouds. Flavorwise, it’s bold yet refined: a strong leather base with layers of dark chocolate and almond sweetness, plus a peppery edge that pops in and out without ever taking over. Pairing it with a soda actually worked out well, refreshing my palate between puffs and letting the richness shine again. Overall, this is a very well-constructed, balanced smoke that makes you appreciate the Liga reputation. For me it’s a solid 4.5 stars almost perfect, and definitely one I’d recommend keeping in the humidor.
