Picked this one up at a Forged Cigar Company event at Ted’s Tobacco and lit it up that evening. Construction was pretty tight at first — had to pin it a couple times to get the draw where I like it. Once it opened up, it really delivered.

Plenty of cedar and earth up front, with a touch of spice and leather in the background. As it burned down, I picked up some espresso and a warm, slightly sweet note — almost like spiced cocoa. Solid complexity without being over the top.

After that first hiccup, it smoked beautifully. Definitely going on my “very special occasion” list. Glad I grabbed it.
