I've been waiting 20 years to smoke one of these cigars. The box is from 2000. Due to this pandemic I had a lot of free time on my hands. Sat on the front porch with a cold lager and fired this baby up. I have heard stories over the years that this years' production wasn't the best, that some of the cigars were rolled too tight. Let me dispel that rumor right now. This cigar was close to perfect. A perfect burn through out the process. Heavenly flavors of leather, oak and sweet herbs. I have numerous boxes of the Monarchs and Sir Winston s. Can't wait until the reach this age.
