Cigar Reviewed: Greycliff
Smoked at: West Texas
A brand new blend for Greycliff and a brand new chapter in their history. This joint venture with AJ Fernandez is the latest news from the Bahama based cigar brand. The wrapper on this cigar is very dark with an almost velvet feel. It is smooth to the touch and well executed, no soft spots or rough edges. A cigar that presents well. Clip and test draw. The draw is light, but not too light. Right out of the gate this blend announces itself. It is unlike any Greycliff you have had before. The only thing even close would be the Limited production “Double Expresso” cigars. The draw has evened out and now is almost perfect. Rich toasty flavors and potency that impresses. Add the cool and clean burn and I believe that the two houses have a winner. I have only had a couple, but I ordered more of them and the also new Nicaraguan Greycliff’s. I just love this kind of research. Great new cigars for a legendary brand, Greycliff.
