Have been to the Dominican Republic over 10 times n last 10 years. Have stayed at this Resort previously. It is Secrets Cap Cana. They were purchased by Wyndham last year. I have purchased and enjoyed smoking great Dominican blends while on this beautiful island. Secrets now has no cigar edict on grounds to include beach. They will let you smoke in one designated area in the sun on the beach. This and they still have cigar shop with outrageous priced cigars on the property. And the rule is enforced. I chose an area on beach at least 50 feet from the closest other seats and sparked my smoke. Five minutes later approached by security who were polite but firm. So I would have never booked vacation if I knew. Picture is from my balcony and I can’t be seen smoking king. Cigar lovers be aware of this rule at all Wyndham owned resorts.
