I’m past that age where I know what I like and what I don’t and it doesn’t matter how much someone else likes it, if I don’t like it, I don’t like it. The Partagas line is one of those things that I really like. I remember my first number 10 back in 1997 followed by a special release that they don’t even advertise on the website in the history of the Cigar. I believe they called it Partagas Serie S. Previously I received a Cortado from the Testing Lab and a couple weeks ago I tried the latest Y Nada Mas. As I set fire to each of these, including the Blak I am currently smoking, I reflect on how each Partagas has its own unique characteristics which are evident right from the beginning; you don’t warm up to it or wait a few minutes for it to get going. Like a race horse, Partagas always comes out of the gate running.
