Smoked the Crowned Heads Belgian Blue tonight and was genuinely impressed. Razor-sharp burn, smooth draw, earthy flavor with a touch of cocoa and sweetness, and a nice bump in strength toward the final third. Super clean and balanced all the way through.

A little background for anyone who hasn’t followed this line: Crowned Heads built their reputation on small-batch, story-driven releases made in partnership with top factories like Tabacalera La Alianza and My Father Cigars. Each yearly drop in this style tends to be limited, slightly tweaked from the previous year, and built around classic Nicaraguan character with their own signature balance. The Belgian Blue falls right into that tradition familiar Crowned Heads profile, but with a little more richness and depth this year. That’s why these releases move fast and why people chase them the moment they hit shelves.
