Aladino Vintage Selection Habano

Smoked: Aladino Vintage Selection Habano

Smoked at: West Chester, Ohio

Aladino Vintage Selection Habano Rothschild weighs in a 4 ½ x 48 Honduran Corojo binder and filler and covered with a slightly oily brown Honduran Habano wrapper with some visible veins to be found. Eiroa excels at Corojo tobacco and the Aladinos I’ve smoked to date have been top notch.

Ir starts out with the distinctive Honduran tobacco sweetness, mild pepper, cinnamon, cedar, hickory, peanuts & walnuts, and a splash of coffee, tea and a touch of dried fruit. A detect a few puffs of mint during the second third. It’s medium bodied and strength start to finish.

The construction was solid – good open draw, even burn line, smoke aplenty, and whitish grey ash that held pretty well, although a tad flaky.

Not very complex but balanced with just enough flavors to keep me interested. I enjoyed the Aladino Vintage Selection Habano.
