Cigar Reviewed: Punch Golden Era

Smoked at: Southern, New Jersey

This Punch Golden Standard was a good overall cigar. I paired it with a Dogfish Head Slightly Mighty Lo-Cal-IPA. Initial construction was good and the stick displayed some veins in the outer wrapper. Cap was cut and the first unlit draw showed some tastes of grass.. not in a bad way. First lit draw was very pleasant with some flavors of leather.. mild pepper (to me). Smoking time was about 40 minutes.. nice solid ash and the smoke was not overwhelming. I definitely would buy more of these in the future and overall, enjoyed this cigar. Good job PUNCH!
