CAO Mortal Coil

Mortal Coil uses tobacco sourced from an area of the world CAO is very familiar with – the Dominican Republic – but this cigar is a whole new frontier for the brand. Mortal Coil prominently features andullo tobacco, a relatively rare, centuries-old fermentation technique that involves taking cured tobacco leaves and tightly coiling them in palm tree pods called “yaguas” to ferment. Wrapped in a USA Broadleaf, this cigar has a strong Andullo aroma with a sweet spice and floral tastes complimented by nuttiness and cream. Mortal Coil is the first entrant in CAO’s Arcana Series that seeks to uncover and blend rare and unique tobaccos.
