We are excited to share the release of Murder Cigars. Edward Crowe is the General Manager of Slumerican (https://slumerican.com/), Manager for hip hop/rock n roll artist Yelawolf (as well as many other artists,) an internationally published photographer, and an overall hustler.

One of the first questions I had for Edward was why start a cigar brand? Crowe has been an avid cigar smoker for most of his adult life and was excited to make his mark in the industry and make his mark he did. The term “murder” is a noun for a collective group of crows. You can see the imagery in Murder Cigars' packaging reflecting the crow’s foot, so Edward was able to get his name out there in a creative way that will speak to all cigar enthusiasts when they see a cigar on the shelf with a crow's foot on it.

Cigar World was able to go live on Instagram with Edward on May 21st at 7PM EST to discuss his launch, experience at Smoke-onos, and just chat about his experience in the world of cigars.

During the live, Crowe announced that Red Phone Booth in Nashville, TN will be the first lounge to carry Murder Cigars, and that he has the intention of placing Murder in other lounges. This is not a one-and-done project for Edward. He has additional blends/sizes/etc. That he is working on, you can find the interview on our socials, so check those out if you missed the live.

This cigar looks nice leans into a Halloween-themed style which to me is perfect timing with the season coming up. The branding is bold, “murder cigar,” and the overall design is very eye-catching. I like when brands take that kind of creative risk.

On my end, I’ve never ordered from BestCigarPrices.com, but this release gives me a good excuse to try them out. From what I’ve seen on their site, their pricing is pretty solid, so I’ll probably grab a few extras along with the Murder Cigar.

For me, trying something new like this is always exciting. Sometimes these kinds of limited or themed launches end up evolving into cigars that sit among the top picks down the road. And if they do, I’ll be glad I was one of the early smokers who tried it and shared a review. That’s part of what I enjoy most giving feedback, sharing thoughts, and helping out fellow cigar enthusiasts who are just as curious as I am.
