What about root beer does anyone finds themselves pair a great smoke with a root beer soda

    Plasencia cigars add Ometepe tobacco to their blends like the Plasencia Alma de Fuego. You can google "Ometepe tobacco" and come up with many results.

    You can pair cigars with just about any beverage. Root beer would be a good one. The only caveat with drinking cold beverages with cigars is that you numb your taste buds after taking a drink. If you want to get the most out your cigar's flavor, you need to let your mouth return to it's normal temperature before taking a draw. That said, since root beer is sweet, a nice pairing would be to complement it with a sweet cigar too. I like Wise Man Gueguense Macho Raton, La Aroma De Cuba (any - but there is a 95 rated Mi Amor that would be well suited) and my favorite sweet cigar - Le Careme pastelitos. What a treat those are. It's like smoking dessert.

    One of my favorite things is exploring what pairs well. Take your time and try what best fits your palate. Some of the sweetest tobacco, in my opinion (and many others' opinions), comes from the Ometepe region of Nicaragua.
